Our 5th annual rugby camp at Shawnigan Lake School was another great success. This year thanks to sponsorship from Island Savings we were able to add a drum making workshop to the calendar of events. The sound of 50 drums beating in unison was something to behold on our cultural evening session.
We finished up the camp with a tournament that gave the boys and girls 3 games to showcase the skills they learned from the top-level coaches that had guided them during the week. Thanks to coaches Mandy Marchak, Crosby Stewart, Peyton Eagar, Val Wideski, Lyric Atchison.
