When you play rugby in BC you need to be insured that insurance is provided through Rugby Canada and BC Rugby and the registration is done through Sportslomo. If you are attending a one day camp through our partner Grassroots Rugby you do not need to be registered but if you are touring with us or playing in a tournament, you need to be registered. Once you register, you will get a membership number, you can enter that number on the Thunder registration page.

To access insurance, every individual must register for Membership with a Club. Insurance is valid starting from August 1st of a new season and is activated from the Member’s date of purchase and expires on August 31st of the following year.
Once you are a registered member, you become insured and covered under Rugby Canada’s insurance policy for the season. This includes Sports Liability Insurance, Sport Accident Insurance, Provincial Excess Medical Coverage, and Travel Coverage while on sanctioned Tours.
