Halifax 2020 North American Indigenous Games – RUGBY
The sport of RUGBY 7’s has been added as a demonstration sport to the Halifax 2020 North American Indigenous Games to be held July 12-18, 2020.
In order to help determine feasibility of whether BC will enter team(s) into the Rugby 7’s competition, ISPARC is seeking expressions of interest from eligible Indigenous rugby athletes and coaches who would be interested in potentially participating in the 2020 NAIG.
This application is for eligible male or female rugby players and coaches of North Indigenous ancestry (First Nations, Metis, Inuit) who are interested in the 2020 North American Indigenous Games to provide a formal Expression of Interest.

BC Indigenous Provincial Youth Rugby Development Camp
ISPARC, in partnership with Thunder Rugby Association and BC Rugby, are planning to host a 2-day provincial development camp for Indigenous rugby players born 2001-2004 (age eligible for 2020 NAIG).
This development camp provides an opportunity for Indigenous rugby athletes to gather and participate in skills development clinics with provincial level coaches and participate in scrimmage games.
This event is planned to be held in late March (tentatively March 21-22, 2019 in location TBD).
We invite youth interested in this camp to indicate their interest on this form and we will ensure you receive the registration link and details once they are finalized.
