The Thunderbird logo was designed by Curtis “Mulidzas’ Wilson. The almighty Thunderbird is a symbol of power, prestige and intelligence. The Thunderbird is the most powerful of all spirits and crests. Whereas the great Thunderbird generally carries a Killer Whale or house posts in its talons, our Vancouver Island Thunderbird carries the ball of our choice, the rugby ball!
