Phil Mack, founding coach of the Thunder Indigenous Rugby program and Captain of the Canadian National Rugby Team, has joined the Seattle Seawolves professional rugby team as coach and player.
The Seattle Seawolves are currently in second-place in the inaugural season of the Major League Rugby [MLR] which includes six other teams from Denver, New Orleans, San Diego, Houston, Austin, and Utah [Salt Lake City].
Seattle Seawolves management are excited to have the “little magician” join their team. Adrian Balfour, co-founder of the Seattle Seawolves, said, “Phil is a powerhouse on the field. Not only will this opportunity give him a chance to again show off his skills as a phenomenal player, he will play a key role on this first-rate coaching staff.”
